What is the Learning Loft?
The Learning Loft was established in 1996 to offer assessment and tuition to children and adults who have Specific Learning Difficulties, such as dyslexia.
Our aim is, and always has been, to enable people of all ages who have Specific Learning Difficulties, including dyslexia and dyspraxia, to become more independent, confident and successful in their learning. We work with our students on a one to one basis to identify their personal learning issues and then help them to improve these by
developing strategies suited to their needs and ability.
Where are we?
The Learning Loft has recently moved to 101 London Road, Salisbury, where lessons take place in a newly converted teaching area. This teaching area is fully equipped with up to date resources and I.C.T. equipment.
Who are we?
Our tutors, Lynne and Jill, have a wide variety of experience, having worked in a number of local primary and secondary schools, in colleges and with local businesses.
Both tutors are qualified teachers and have specialist qualifications. They ensure they keep up to date with the latest research and
teaching methods by regularly attending courses, conferences and exhibitions.
